With support from Common Trust, Guidon becomes an employee-owned trust

Guidon, a sustainable architecture and engineering firm based in downtown Indianapolis, has become the first employee-owned trusts in Indiana. The trust, structured by Common Trust, ensures that Guidon’s profits are equally shared among its 90 employees.

“We believe that improving lives and empowering people begins from within,” said Luke Leising, a former US Army ranger who founded Guidon in 2011.

Guidon is certified by the US Small Business Administration as a service-disabled veteran-owned small business. The designation is given to small businesses that are majority-owned and operated by one or more veterans with service-connected disabilities.

“When Guidon wins, we all win,” Leising said.
