About this Role

This full-time, on-site role is based in Beijing, China. The primary responsibility entails managing the unit’s international communication and exchange efforts in the carbon footprint and dual-carbon fields. This includes conducting external liaison, expanding channels, coordinating relationships, promoting cooperation, fostering business development, and orchestrating content coordination. The candidate will develop new cooperative opportunities and not solely rely on the unit’s existing resources. The Senior Advisor is expected to engage in policy coordination, stakeholder engagement, and must show strong organizational and project management skills to handle complex international initiatives. This role provides an opportunity to work with various international organizations and NGOs, aiming to enhance the global dialogue on carbon management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage international communication and exchange efforts in carbon footprint-related fields.
  • Conduct external liaison and expand communication channels.
  • Coordinate relationships and promote cooperative opportunities.
  • Facilitate business development and orchestrate content coordination.
  • Develop new cooperative opportunities independently.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in relevant fields.
  • Expertise in carbon footprint, carbon management, environmental sciences, sustainable development, or supply chain management.
  • Preferred experience with NGOs, international organizations, policy coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in other languages is a plus.
  • A network in the EU or the US is considered an advantage.
