About this Role

The Investment Associate at Reviva Transition Partners plays a vital role in supporting the APAC market’s origination, focusing on identifying priority markets, asset owners, and transition opportunities. The position involves rigorous tracking of commercial and regulatory dynamics affecting thermal asset viability and engaging with various stakeholders to source opportunities. Additionally, the role demands a strong capability in transaction execution and financial analysis, including building detailed financial models and contributing to deal negotiations. As part of the team, the associate will support strategic partnerships and corporate development initiatives while ensuring adherence to the company’s impact methodologies and risk frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Support APAC origination by mapping priority markets and transition opportunities.
  • Track commercial and regulatory factors affecting asset viability.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders like utilities, IPPs, and government entities.
  • Develop financial models to assess decarbonization potential.
  • Prepare investment notes and support deal negotiations.
  • Coordinate due diligence across various workstreams.
  • Contribute to the design of coal transition strategies.
  • Represent Reviva at industry events and support partnership development.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or project finance.
  • Strong experience with energy transactions in APAC, particularly SEA.
  • Expertise in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Experience conducting due diligence and managing investment processes.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
