About this Role
The Manager of Regional Innovation Pods plays a crucial role in Togo’s ambitious digital and economic transformation agenda. This position involves leading the development and operation of innovation hubs designed to support entrepreneurship, research, and digital skills development. The manager will work directly with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Transformation to oversee the implementation of strategic innovation programs that enhance local economic development. This twelve-month contract offers the opportunity to shape Togo’s national innovation strategy by expanding entrepreneurship opportunities and building innovation ecosystems across the country. The successful candidate will lead tailored programs like workshops, hackathons, and mentorship initiatives, strengthening partnerships between local governments, private sector entities, and community organizations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations and long-term strategy of the regional innovation pods.
- Develop and implement high-impact programs for startups and SMEs.
- Facilitate access to business development services and funding.
