About this Role
Wavemaker Partners is seeking an enthusiastic Growth Internship candidate to join our team in Singapore. This is an opportunity to support our Growth Investment Team, engaging in a full spectrum of investment activities over a period of at least three months. As an intern, you will play a vital role in research, due diligence, and portfolio management. Interns will gain exposure to market dynamics and financial analysis methods, enhancing their understanding of venture capital. This position offers a unique chance to build professional relationships through community engagement and networking events.
Responsibilities
- Support the Investment Team by evaluating opportunities and performing due diligence, including market research and financial analysis.
- Participate in building our community in Singapore, engaging with advisors, accelerators, co-investors, and other stakeholders.
- Represent and promote Wavemaker externally by attending events and networking.
- Collaborate with the Investment and People & Platform teams to support portfolio companies.
- Assist with portfolio monitoring, reporting, and providing additional support as required.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Business, Engineering, or Social Science.
- At least 1-2 other internships completed.
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and interest in Venture Capital.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Open-minded with a commitment to continuous self-development.
- Ability to work diligently in a fast-paced environment.
